X2CrNiMo17-12-2 is the standard Molybdenum-bearing Austenitic Stainless Steel grade used
for Bipolar plates in
PEM Fuel Cells (PEM-FC).
X2CrTiNb18 is an alternative cost-efficient ferritic stainless steel grade enhanced with
Titanium and Niobium for Bipolar plates in PEM Fuel Cells.
Both PEM-FC grades are processed in a way to improve isotropic formability of the
flowfield, as well as its dimensional stability and durability.

These SOFC, SOEC and PEM Fuel Cell alloys are available coated or uncoated. The thin
film coating undergoes a specially adapted PVD process that ensures improved formability
of the flowfield, dimensional stability and durability.
Surface parameters are optimized for adhesion and durability, safeguarding its
functionality, even when the coating is degraded or damaged.
Condition: We can supply Annealed or customized Tempers and Elongation.
Gauges: Precision re-rolling from .0016" to .020" Thick with Tight Tolerances.
Stretch Bend Levelling is available for Flatness and Low Coil Set.
Widths: Precision Slitting from .118" to 21.6" Wide with a #3 slit edge.
Minimum Orders: Since we custom re-roll to your thickness tolerances, the thinner gauges
will require less MOQ than thicker gauges. Please inquire for details.
